Statement of Faith
THE BIBLE… Inspired, infallible, and the only authoritative Word of God. (Psalm 119:89, 2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:21)
THE TRIUNE GOD….One God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Matt. 28:19, 2 Corinthians 13:14)
JESUS CHRIST…His conception by the Holy Spirit, His virgin birth, His sinless life and miraculous works, His vicarious and atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His coming again. (John 1:1, Ephesians 1:19-23)
THE HOLY SPIRIT…God, dwelling in the believer and guiding him in Truth, endowing him with gifts as He determines, and enabling him to glorify God. (John 15:26, Acts 2:1-4, 1 Corinthians12:4-11)
MAN…Created by God in His image, but born with a sinful nature through the fall of Adam and is under His righteous judgment. (Genesis 3, Romans 5:12)
SALVATION…God gave His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, to become man’s Savior. (John 3:16, Romans 5:1, Acts 16:31)
HEAVEN…A place prepared for all persons who are in Christ. (John 14:1-3)
HELL… Hell is for those who die in unbelief. (Revelation 20: 1-15)
END TIMES…The return of Christ, the Millennium, the Judgments, and the Eternal State. (Acts 1:11, Revelation 20-22)
THE CHURCH…Commissioned to evangelize the world by proclaiming Jesus Christ as Lord and by living as His servants among men. (Matthew 28:18 – Acts 1:8, Ephesians 4:11-16)
