Inthe Hawaiian culture, hula is a language. The gestures and footwork tell a story. Dancers usually tell a story of a flower, a mountain range, a person, or even demigods to name a few.
Doing praise hula in the church setting, our dances are about and directed to our Lord, Jesus Christ. When we hula, each dancer is expressing her personal story of love and worship to our Lord thru the song and movements we use. We dance hula in the hope that it will bring you into the holiest of holies alongside us, and that the Spirit will fall fresh on you as you experience God in this visual way.

After years of worship, our halau kumu and team are currently
taking a well earned rest.
