We’re totally excited about the fresh and energetic new look of the Women’s Ministry Team. The purpose of this ministry is to nurture and impact women in the church and in the community through relationship building, food, fun, fellowship, activities, and of course Bible study. Ultimately our hope is… to plug YOU in…plug you into a loving Christ-centered family…a Ohana group…plug you into the power source….into a relationship with the Loving father…plug you into….God.
Women of all ages, ethnic groups and walks of faith join together at KMC to explore common interests and build relationships.
What do we do? Well…
We LOVE to play games, especially BUNCO, a popular and fast paced dice game complete with every woman’s dream… door prizes!!!... (like massages, facials, pedicures) …a perfect outing to bring a friend to.
Every year we participate in the annual Kauai Women of Faith Conference, a moving 2 day conference jam-packed with guest speakers from the mainland, awesome worship and totally ono-licious, catered by Brennecke’s, food. This past year, KMC outdid themselves at the conference!! Out of all the churches on the island, we had the largest group, with the largest amount of tables, beating out Kauai Christian Fellowship, who hosted the conference! Whoot, whoot… ladies...way to go!! (just a little playful rivalry for all the island women out there…just try and beat us!)
Other plans for the year may include a mini retreat. We’ll keep you posted on the fun!
